Soft Opening - August 2010
Finally, In My Lifetime has opened its doors to the public!
After several weeks of renovation and its ups and downs, we are very happy with the final result. The boutique is set in a old school barber shop. Everything from the old fasioned tiles, to the 100 year old barber chairs, to the posters and magazine clippings which cover the antique off-white walls, set a perfect canvas to showcase our timeless collection of hand-picked archival pieces.
We've stocked the boutique with the most classic and unique pieces, from the most celebrated and iconic brands in pop culture over the last 30 years. These pieces have been hand-picked from cities across the country and world. Our boutique brings us back to the place where this whole movement began, NYC!
The walls are wrapped with classic chalkline and starter jackets, a polo teddy bear section of its own, and one of a kind hand made vests from the mesa collection.
